Membership

Membership of the Association shall be open to any natural or juristic person that supports the objectives and values of the Association, including:

Private and public companies (including for-profit cannabis retailers and brands);
Non-profit organisations and cooperatives;
Natural persons engaged in retail, advocacy, compliance, or scientific services within the cannabis industry;
International stakeholders with aligned ethical and operational standards.

All applicants must submit a completed Membership Application Form, and agree in writing to be bound by:

The Memorandum of Incorporation (MOI);
The Association’s Code of Ethics and Conduct;
Any internal rules, compliance charters, or certification requirements adopted by the Association from time to time.

The Association shall establish the following classes of membership:

Full Member

Retailers, producers, cooperatives, and corporate entities actively operating in the cannabis sector in South Africa.

Associate Member

Individuals, researchers, service providers, or non-operational entities supporting the Association’s objectives.

Honorary Member

Persons invited in recognition of their contribution to cannabis reform, public health, or legal advocacy.

International Affiliate

Foreign legal persons or associations aligned with the Association’s mission and standards.
